Chateau Musar is a renowned wine producer based in Ghazir, Lebanon, just north of the capital Beirut, producing a range of wines from vineyards in the Bekaa Valley, and best-known for its eponymous grand vin: Chateau Musar. Gaston Hochar set up the vinery after traveling through Bordeaux, and today the old vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsaut, Carignan and indigenous Lebanese white grapes Obaideh and Merwah.

Chateau Musar Red of this vintage is a dark blood red color with a rich, fragrant fruit nose; mulberries, black cherries, plums with a hint of mocha. The palate is very intense and concentrated, it’s full of volume and characterized by forest and black fruits with elegant spice. The tannins are soft and juicy and it has a lengthy finish.

This bottle of 3L Chateau Musar comes in fine wooden box.
