Guerriero della Terra

Right in the middle of the Pessaro Hills, in the wine region of Le Marche, you’ll find Azienda Agraria Guerrieri, a family-owned winery that has been producing wine for more than 200 years. Today, this boutique Italian winery is run by the 6th generation of the Guerrieri family. Guerrieri comprises 48 acres of vineyards, planted in gray and blue marl soils, consisting of calcareous clay and silt. The vineyard is managed 100% under organic practices, with a minimum intervention policy.

Harvested only in the best years from the oldest estate's vines. Grapes are hand-selected for a balanced and even ripening. Late harvested then refined in oak barrels for over a year.

Purple in color, the nose opens up with hints of currant, plum and tobacco, while notes of chocolate, vanilla and tobacco emerge on the palate, for a wine with exceptional structure and body, with light notes of liquorice and firm and imposing tannins on the finish.
