Hyde No12 Pot Still Cask 1893

Douglas Hyde was the 1st President of Ireland from 1938-1945. He was sworn into office on 26th June 1938, which was the very 1st presidential ceremony in Ireland’s long & rich history. Hyde Whiskey was created to deliver complex Presidential flavor notes that are a celebration of Ireland’s unique history, heritage and provenance, a truly stately whiskey.

No12l is triple distilled from a mash bill of malted barley, un-malted barley, and Irish oats. It is then matured for at least 5 years in 200 litre, alligator flame charred, ex-Bourbon, white oak casks, before being finished in Oloroso sherry casks. You can expect to taste creamy yet spicy notes with ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, culminating in a vanilla honey finish.
