Kikusui Honjozo

Kikusui Sake, established in 1881, is a distinguished family-run sake brewery located in Shibata City, nestled in the sake-rich Niigata Prefecture. For over 140 years, the Takazawa family has guided the company through adversity—including major flooding and earthquakes—while maintaining its mission of crafting high-quality, approachable sake. 

This is the Honjozo style sake with added distilled alcohol. Another popular category of standard class sake that all the sake drinker loves. The captivating smoothness and crisp dry finish pair well with grilled type of food. Enjoyable in chilled but warming it up will make it creamier and drier.
