Lugana Riserva

The winery owns ninety-five hectares of vineyards in Lugana and Valpolicella, where the soil is morainic and the climate is mild. The winery was founded by Sergio Zenato and his wife, Carla, in 1960. Zenato makes wines that exemplify the founder’s passion for the land and its history, respect for the environment and devotion to promoting the local grape varieties for half a century. Zenato has entered into international markets and received the highest accolades from the wine industry’s leading experts, praise that reflects the way in which the company operates on a daily basis. Today, Zenato continues to look to the future and invest in development projects based in the areas of Valpolicella and Lugana.

The grapes for this wine come from the oldest vines on their Podere Massoni farm. They are harvested slightly late, around mid-October. Light brilliant gold in color, this wine delivers intense multi-faceted aromas on the nose, with floral and citrus notes, spices, white plum, and vanilla. On the palate, it's rich in flavor, with great depth and balance. An ideal white for aging.
