Petit Sale

A Clariette based wine with a minor addition of Vermentino grapes both grown on north/north-west facing vineyards at an altitude of about 380meters. The Clairette grape goes back to the 50s and it was locally known as ‘Sale’. This grape is harvested late in the last days of the harvest at the end of September/beginning of October . The resultant wine is a clear and limpid dress of fine floral and mineral aromas with hints of white peach and lemon. On the palate it feels lively and straight depicting a precise wine marked by limestone and flint.
