Etna Rosso 760 metri

In addition to the previous single vineyard,  Sciaranouva, the 2018's 760 metri (previously known as the 750 metri) is made together with grapes harvested from another vineyard situated from 720 to 750 meters known as Contrada Taccione. Works in the vineyards are all done by hands in the most natural way possible with no irrigation, chemical fertilization or pesticide treatments etc. With aroma of crushed rocks and rusty dried berries at the beginning, the wine slowly develops into cherries and roasted chestnut woods complexion. Its a substantial wine with plenty of livelihood. The seductive flavours of figs, sea-salt like minerals echoing a black fruity & woodsy finish. It requires patience and decantation.
