Tabula

Bodegas Tabula was born in 2002 at the initiative of a group of partners and José Luis Muñoz, a businessman from Valladolid related to the agri-food sector, who from the outset took control of the project. Being one of the differentiating characteristics respect for the fruit and the search for the essence of the terroir. The privileged situation of the vineyards, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, together with the limited production, the harvesting, selection and production process make their wines unique and unmistakable. At Tabula there is an important philosophy: to make the best quality wines that express the authentic terroir of la Ribera. Very old vines, the latest technology, French oak vats for malolactic fermentation, the double selection of grapes, first in the vineyard and again in the winery, plus very limited production. 

Tempranillo exhibits its highest varietal expression in this Tábula. Made with grapes from vineyards that are over 35 years old.  Structured on the palate and with good acidity, it stands out for its 20-month aging in French oak barrels and vats.

Intense cherry red color with a high layer. Aroma of ripe fruits, spices and liquorice notes. Polished and fresh tannins, broad and persistent.
