Le Vigne di Zamò is a family owned winery located in Manzano, one of the most renewed winegrowing areas in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Began life in 1978 when the Zamò family purchased 10 hectares of vineyards. The company is fortunate to draw from three different terroirs that give the wines different and unique characters and personalities. The Zamò family has been cultivating the land through generations all united under the same goal: cultivating the land and making wine as a sign of civilization and respect for their origins and traditions. For years, the Zamò family has been conducting cultivation with sustainability-conscious methods.

Intense deep ruby red. The alluringly pervasive nose is redolent of berry fruit, leather, cacao powder, coffee and spice. Confident yet beautifully balanced overall, the palate is underpinned by well-gauged acidity. There are distinct sensations of currants, black cherries, liquorice and cocoa powder in a setting of awesome structure and persistence. This wine is already drinking outstandingly but will also reward the patience of wine lovers who follow its development in the cellar in years to come.
