Rosso di Montepulciano

Avignonesi is a wine producer in the Montepulciano region of southern Tuscany. The estate was founded in 1974 by the Avignonesi family. It was acquired by Virgine Saverys in 2009, who has expanded the estate significantly. It now comprises 175 hectares of vineyards, and has a new, state-of-the-art winemaking facility. Saverys also established it as a leader in biodynamic winegrowing in the country. Avignonesi is certified organic, biodynamic (Biodyvin) and vegan.

Wine has a ruby red color highlighted by purple reflections. In the nose it opens with caresses of strawberry, raspberry and black currant that dance together with aromas of sweet spices such as cinnamon. On the palate it is pleasant and fresh, supported by a good acidity. Ready to drink, it has a light and soft tannic structure accompanied by generous aftertaste notes typical of Sangiovese.
