Carpineto is an Italian producer with several estates across highly regarded Tuscan DOCG regions. It was founded in 1967 by Giovanni Carlo Sachet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo with the aim of being a high-quality Chianti Classico producer. Carpineto is the story of two friends and their families, united by a common love for Sangiovese Grape and a strong desire to partake in Tuscany’s wine renaissance. Today, families work together managing 5 estates, 500 hectares of land, all sustainably farmed, and wines are produced in carbon neutral wineries, are vegan friendly. Carpineto wines are the result of advanced scientific and enological processes and techniques which respect the territorial integrity of the land.
It appears in the glass with an attractive bright garnet color. Intense and articulated on the nose where notes of fruit in jam blend with macerated flowers and spices, on a tertiary background of undergrowth, leather, tobacco and cocoa. Elegant mouth, with tannin integrated into the body and enlivened by a still present acidity. It closes savory, leaving a pleasantly toasted memory.
