Glenfiddich Riserva Rum Cask Finish 21YO

Glenfiddich is a renowned single malt whisky distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means "valley of the deer" in Gaelic. The Glenfiddich distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant. Glenfiddich single malt is one of the most successful and well-known whisky brands in the world. In the 1920s, with prohibition in force in the US, Glenfiddich was one of a very small number of distilleries to increase production. This put them in a strong position to meet the sudden rise in demand for fine aged whiskies that came with the repeal of prohibition. 

This Glenfiddich 21 year old is an exquisite traditional whisky given a unique modern twist. Innovative rum cask finish adds extra sweet and exotic notes, creating a rich, decadent and luxurious single malt. 

Dark gold color. Intense and vanilla sweet. Floral, hints of banana, figs, rich toffee, new leather and oak. On the palate, Initially soft, then brisk, vibrant and drying, peppery, a touch of smoke, oak, lime, ginger and spices. The finish is very long, warming dry and spicy.
