Cordon Rouge

Champagne G. H. Mumm, based in Reims, is one of the largest producers in Champagne. Champagne Mumm owns around 220 hectares (540 acres) of vines, with many in some of the top grand cru vineyards in Champagne. These holdings make up approximately 25 percent of Mumm's production, with the remaining grapes coming from independent growers, with whom Mumm has long-standing relationships in order to help maintain a consistent style in the finished product.

The Cordon Rouge is aged for two and a half years, with vintage wines spending nearly five years in bottle. These are aged in Mumm's 25km (15 miles) of cellars, which are home to almost 25 million bottles of wine.

Driven by Pinot Noir grape, Mumm Cordon Rouge Champagne reveals aromas of fresh white and yellow fruit with hints of lychee, pineapple and praline. An energetic freshness, underscored with complexity is revealed. The palate is perfectly balanced with fresh fruit and rounded notes of caramel prolonging the intensity and leading to a powerful, memorable finish.
