Chardonnay

As the first white wine of the producer, The Federalist Chardonnay holds its own with aromas of lemon, pear, and a touch of cinnamon for a fresh, crisp flavor. 

Malolactic fermentation occur post-primary fermentation. The lees are stirred through malolactic fermentation, and the wine is aged on the lees until blending. Aging: 35% new Oak is primarily American and Hungarian oak,with a little bit of French. The Hungarian oak mimics French with spicy character and the American rounds it out with a sweeter finish.
