Château Brown

Château Brown is a wine estate in the Pessac-Léognan region of Bordeaux, just south of the city. It produces a range of red and white (and rosé) blended wines in keeping with many properties in the wider Graves region. The estate is a flagship of owners the Mau family – a well-known name in Bordeaux wine circles. The estate covers 59 hectares (146 acres) some 10km (six miles) south of central Bordeaux. Brown is planted to 29 hectares (72 acres) of vines. The vines average 20 years old, and are planted on classic gravelly soils with varying percentages of clay, sandstone and iron. 

Vibrant medium purple color. Fantastic aromatic intensity with purple flowers, juicy blackcurrant and black plum underlined by smoky earthiness with fresh herbs. Rich palate with fine, ripe tannic structure well balanced by the abundance of high-toned dark fruit and elevated refreshing acidity.
