La Mesma is a family-run winery in the heart of the Gavi DOCG in Piedmont, Italy, led by the Rosina sisters, who focus exclusively on expressing the purity of the Cortese grape. Gavi Riserva DOCG (Vigna della Rovere Verde) is drawn from an old vineyard watched over by the monumental Green Oak in Tassarolo, and it’s crafted for extended age and depth, spending around a year on its lees before bottling to build both structure and complexity.

Showing a bright straw-yellow color, this Riserva offers a rich yet fresh and elegant profile, with more intensity and persistence than the standard Gavi—complex aromas of citrus, floral notes, hints of tropical fruit and subtle petrol-like nuances with age, underpinned by vibrant acidity and pronounced minerality. On the palate it’s structured and flavorful, with a long, harmonious finish that rewards cellaring.
