Marilisa Allegrini is part of one of the historic wine families of Veneto, long associated with elevating the reputation of Veneto wines and modern Italian winemaking. Villa della Torre aims to showcase the diversity of Verona’s wine regions through carefully selected vineyards and terroirs. This project focuses on expressing site-specific character, with attention to factors like volcanic soils, altitude, and indigenous grapes.

Amarone di Villa Della Torre is notable for its particular intensity and rich aromatic profile. Careful aging in wood for 18 months, maintaining respect for the fragrance of the fruit, yields a well-balanced tannic note that enhances the wine with further complexity. It is deep ruby red in color, while the nose expresses hints of cherry and marasca cherry with pleasant, gentle notes of vanilla and spices. On the palate, the substantial tannic structure is well integrated and the finish is long and persistent. Ethereal and balanced, its freshness sets it apart from the traditional canons of Amarone. It will take on further complexity with aging in the bottle.
