Rainbow’s End Family Reserve Red

Anton and Francois Malan, direct descendants of the French Huguenot winemaker, Jacques Malan, waited patiently for ten years for their vineyard blocks to age to perfection in order to select the best possible grapes for this artisan creation. Only the best barrels of each variety were selected, blended and aged for two years in small French oak barrels. A reflection of Rainbow’s End terroir and one of the best wines estate has produced to date.

Aromas of dark cherry, black plum and cassis followed by a touch of of sage, mint and thyme. Full bodied, the pallet offers layers of complexity with soft spice, dark fruit ending with a lingering minty mulberry finish. Soft well balanced tannins.
