Bottled at the traditional British 100 proof strength of 57.1% ABV, this youthful and powerful Springbank was matured entirely in bourbon casks. The American oak allows the distillery’s distinctive character to remain at the forefront, contributing layers of vanilla, delicate sweetness and fresh orchard fruit while preserving Springbank’s characteristic mineral, maritime and lightly smoky qualities. The combination of youthful spirit, full-strength bottling and 100% bourbon-cask maturation produces an energetic, expressive whisky that demonstrates remarkable balance despite its relatively young age.

The nose opens brightly with crisp green apples, wine gums and flowering gorse, accompanied by a distinctive mineral freshness. On the palate, gentle peat smoke meets icing sugar and creamy white chocolate before developing into more unusual, savoury notes of tomato leaf, sunflower seeds and linseed oil. The texture is robust and characterful, carrying the whisky’s high strength with impressive poise, while the finish delivers lingering honeyed sweetness, tart gooseberries and a final trace of Campbeltown’s unmistakable coastal character.
