Ama Chianti Classico

Castello di Ama is an Italian producer, found the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany. The estate has about 75 hectares (185 acres) of vineyards, all within a two-miles radius of the village of Ama. Beauty and uniqueness enticed this family, originally from Rome, to Ama in the early Seventies. Bound by their love of wine, they replanted the vineyards and introduced new production methods, building a new winery with the end goal of producing Chianti Classico and returning Ama to its former glory. 

Ama, produced almost entirely from Sangiovese grapes. This wine is made from vines planted at high density. The grapes are hand-harvested from vines that are 10-12 years old on average. Fruity and harmonic, the voluptuous Ama Chianti Classico expresses all the elegance of the estate’s wines.

Ruby red color with vermillion nuances. Fruity nose with red fresh fruits, cherry and raspberry. On the palate it offers elegant and harmonic taste with well-balanced spicy notes already at the first impact.
