Estate Argyros is a wine producer located on the island of Santorini in Greece. The vineyards are planted on volcanic soils and cover 26 hectares (65 acres) of land on the island. Native grape varieties are planted there, making wines in a range of styles, from dry whites to sweet vinsanto. The estate was originally founded in 1903 by Georgios Argyros, who started making local wines using traditional Santorinian methods. Argyros' vineyards are situated at altitudes ranging from 35-150m (115-500ft) above sea level, on the classic, dark volcanic soils of the island. The vines are cultivated in the traditional basket style which shelters the grapes from Santorini's strong winds.

The youngest Vinsanto of Estate Argyros, demonstrating what youth is for such a wine. A strict selection of excessively old Assyrtiko, Aidani and Athiri vineyards in Episkopi, two hundred year old minimum, specifically earmarked for this style. Harvested at very deep ripeness, almost a month after the main picking date, giving insanely low yields. The grapes are sun dried for ten days, natural fermentation and three years of ageing takes place in old concrete vats, with additional ageing for four years in old wooden vats.

Dark color of aged cognac with honey aroma. Complex nose with dried apricots and prunes scents, preparing for an excellent deep mouthfeel.
