Vino Nobile

Avignonesi is a wine producer in the Montepulciano region of southern Tuscany. The estate was founded in 1974 by the Avignonesi family. It was acquired by Virgine Saverys in 2009, who has expanded the estate significantly. It now comprises 175 hectares of vineyards, and has a new, state-of-the-art winemaking facility. Saverys also established it as a leader in biodynamic winegrowing in the country. Avignonesi is certified organic, biodynamic (Biodyvin) and vegan.

The wine shows garnet red hues, intense aromas of fresh, red berry fruit, such as cherry, pomegranate, sweet spices and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate the wine is well balanced, with generous pulp, seamless tannins and an endless finish.
