Synonymous with "Amarone", Bertani represents not only the most important winery in Valpolicella but also one of the most prestigious and well-known wineries in all of Italy. A story that begins very far away, exactly in 1857, with the foundation of the cellar by the brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani. The latter came from a long period of learning spent at the school of the great Professor Guyot, in France. Bertani Amarone is certainly one of the most respected and prestigious, award winning numerous awards and the loyalty of many lovers of fine wine.
Great red wine with a strong and important personality, the result of a long maceration and a 72 month aging in cask.
An intense red color, with garnet nuances. Firstly there are the typical notes of plum, cherry and Morello cherry on the nose, followed by a great variety of tones: nuts, tea leaves, liquorice and spices. On the palate there are hints of red berry fruits, softened by plush vanilla notes, in perfect harmony with the acidity and tannins.
