Blanc De Blancs Dosaggio Zero

This Blanc de Blancs is a natural wine crafted by female winemaker Alessandra Divella, in the Lombardy region in Italy, more specifically Franciacorta. This sparkling wine, similar to Champagne in its style, is made with 100% Chardonnay grapes which are grown with a lot of care on Alessandra's small 2 hectare estate, mostly composed of clay and limestone soils. In the cellar there are no additions and zero dosage.

Alessandra's precision and care are expressed in the wine with lively acidity and a clear , mineral depth . The gentle, slow hand-pressing of the grapes using a manual wooden press leads to a light maceration . With only 1 g/L of residual sugar in the bottle and a full 30 months on the lees, the wine is lively and full-bodied on the palate, with notes of brioche. A well-integrated oxidative note is striking , in a wine with good structure and final notes that surprise with aromas of rosemary and white flowers.
