Garofoli is one of the oldest family-run wineries in Italy, founded in 1871 in the Marche region by the Garofoli family, who still manage it today across multiple generations. Based in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi. Garofoli combines deep tradition with modern winemaking techniques, producing a wide range of wines from both Verdicchio and Montepulciano, and is widely regarded as a benchmark producer in the Marche for quality, consistency, and long-lived white wines.
Blu Nami is made from 100% Pecorino grapes grown in hillside vineyards, typically in central Italy where the variety thrives in calcareous, well-drained soils. After careful hand harvesting, the grapes are gently destemmed and softly pressed, followed by a short cold maceration to enhance aromatic extraction.
Lively and expressive profile, with aromas of ripe pear, white peach, and citrus zest layered with floral hints and subtle herbal tones. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and a clear saline, mineral edge that is typical of Pecorino. Flavours of lemon, stone fruit, and green herbs carry through a crisp, linear structure, finishing clean and persistent with a lightly almond-like nuance that adds complexity and length.
