Maison De Lozey is an independent family business whose winemaking roots date back to the end of the 19th century. It was in 1900 that Raymond Cheurlin - grandfather of Philippe, the current owner - decided to create his own brand of Champagne. The Champagne De Lozey vineyard is located on the slopes of the famous Côte des Bar, in the Aube region, in the south of Champagne. Its vines are planted on clay-limestone soil from the Upper Jurassic, the Kimmeridgian, giving the wines all their personality. Most of Maison De Lozey's cuvées are blended with wines that are 10 to 15 years old, according to the so-called "perpetual reserve" or "Solera" system. A rather particular winemaking method, which makes it possible to create blooming wines. Characterized by their purity and great finesse, often with a low dosage.

Brut Tradition cuvée is matured for a long time in order to reveal all its personality and its quality of fine and light bubbles. Combined with 15-year-aged reserve wine with younger Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to achieve complexity and eloquence. The result is an undeniably appreciated champagne.

Its effervescence is fine and forms a beautiful persistent corolla. The nose reveals aromas of fresh almonds, white flowers and bergamot underlined by a slight minty liquorice. On the palate, its attack is lively and fresh but also elegant. The finish is well qualified with a length and finesse not very qualified in this type of wine.
