Mezzacorona was founded in 1904 and was one of the first growers’ associations in Italy. Lies at the foot of the majestic Italian Dolomites with a cool, wild breeze comes from over 400 lakes and numerous surrounding mountain glaciers, reaching over 9000 feet. Thanks to a spectrum of microclimates, which come from the Mediterranean and the Alps, and benefiting from more than a century of winemaking experience, Mezzacorona has planted vineyards in the areas most suited to the needs of each variety, allowing them to display the aromas and flavors of the your terroir.

At the foot of the Dolomites, grapes benefit from the alpine climate, which forms the balanced bouquet and the aromatic intensity of Castel Firmian wines. With their balanced bouquet and aromatic intensity, they are true expressions of Trentino history and wine making tradition, where genuine fruits become special wines.

This red wine is a blend of three varieties, with Teroldego as the undisputed protagonist. Other two are Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It brings us red berries, blueberries, blackberries, herbaceous and spicy hints in the aftertaste. Energetic wine with a spicy acidity and of course the typical Italian bitterness at the end! Soft, fresh, well-integrated tannins, which are pleasantly persistent.
