Mezzacorona was founded in 1904 and was one of the first growers’ associations in Italy. Lies at the foot of the majestic Italian Dolomites with a cool, wild breeze comes from over 400 lakes and numerous surrounding mountain glaciers, reaching over 9000 feet. Thanks to a spectrum of microclimates, which come from the Mediterranean and the Alps, and benefiting from more than a century of winemaking experience, Mezzacorona has planted vineyards in the areas most suited to the needs of each variety, allowing them to display the aromas and flavors of the your terroir.

This wine shimmers a rich ruby red with cherry-red reflections. The rich bouquet is characterized by aromas typical of the variety. It reveals aromas of black berries (especially blackberry, blackcurrant and some elderberry), subtle nuances of eucalyptus and a hint of licorice. With a fine tannin, strong body and great structure, this Italian red wine skillfully takes over the palate.
