Domaine Nathalie & Gilles Fèvre is a family-run wine estate in Chablis, Burgundy (France), with deep roots dating back to 1745 and officially established under its current name in 2004 by Nathalie and Gilles Fèvre, both trained oenologists. The domaine farms around 50–53 hectares of vineyards on classic Kimmeridgian limestone soils. Their style is defined by fresh, precise, mineral-driven Chardonnay with emphasis on terroir expression and purity, using mostly stainless-steel vinification with minimal oak influence and sustainable viticulture practices.
Vaulorent is the southernmost vineyard of the wider Fourchaume set of vineyards and is the only Chablis Premier Cru vineyard located on the same hill formation as the Chablis Grand Crus. The Chardonnay-based wines made here are widely considered to be some of the best of the Chablis Premier Cru wines, giving a powerful, elegant style of wine with Chablis' classic mineral characteristics.
Powerful, grand cru-like profile, opening with aromas of lime peel, citron confit, white peach, pear and citrus blossom layered over intense chalk, oyster shell and flinty mineral notes. The palate is concentrated yet beautifully precise, combining ripe citrus and stone fruit with vibrant acidity, saline tension and a deep chalky core that gives the wine remarkable drive and length. Finish is long, racy and distinctly maritime, suggesting excellent ageing potential despite its early charm.
