Chablis Grand Cru Valmur

The Domaine Jean Collet has devoted itself to winegrowing since 1792, handing the business down from generation to generation. Jean Collet created his eponymous estate in 1952, and in 1979, Gilles joined his father and the estate became Jean Collet & Fils. The winery and cellars are located in the heart of Chablis. The vineyards are located on the best slopes of the left and right banks of the Serein river covering 37 hectares.

Valmur is a central climat of the Chablis Grand Cru hill in northern Burgundy. Valmur Grand Cru wine is considered by many to be one of the best expressions of Chardonnay produced in Chablis: producing steely, powerful wines made for ageing. 

Rich tones of ripe yellow peaches, lemon, grapefruit infused in wine aroma with hints of minerals, white flowers, oak and spice. Perfectly balanced wine has a bright, fresh taste, which reflects the notes of minerals, ripe peaches, lemon peel and oak. Has a long dry finish with rich mineral hues.
