Chateau Cos Labory

Château Cos Labory is a left-bank Bordeaux estate in Saint-Estèphe. It was designated a 5th Growth estate in the 1855 Classification of the Médoc and Graves. The Cos Labory property was producing wine at least as far back as the 18th Century, when it was known as Château Gaston after the proprietors at the time. Château Cos Labory is now 18 hectares (44 acres), making it one of the smallest of the Cru Classé Châteaux-s.

Ripe, dark fruits, and flowers show in the nose, with ease. Polished, ripe, and round in texture, you find levels of sweetness, hints of chocolate, and juicy black cherries, with freshness in the finish, that leaves you with just a hint of dark chocolate on the backend.
