Chateau Dassault Grand Cru Classe Magnum

Château Dassault is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé wine estate located just north of the town of Saint-Emilion, in the Bordeaux wine region. The estate was formerly known as Château Couperie and its name was changed following its acquisition by French aviation billionaire Serge Dassault in 1955. Château Dassault vineyards cover just over 24 hectares (60 acres) on the northern hillsides of the Saint-Émilion plateau. These slopes are composed largely of sand and limestone soils and are primarily planted to Merlot.

Château Dassault 2023 is a plush and modern Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, plum, violet, dark chocolate, and subtle espresso and spice notes. The palate is ripe and polished, showing silky tannins, juicy dark fruit, and fresh acidity that brings lift and balance. The finish is long and refined, combining richness with mineral freshness and lingering notes of cocoa, graphite, and floral spice.
