Château Faugeres

Château Faugères is a Bordeaux estate that attained Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé status in 2012. Château Faugères consists of 37 hectares (91 acres) of cultivated vineyard planted to 85 percent Merlot, 10 percent Cabernet Franc and 5 percent Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is sourced from vines averaging 35 years old. 

Dark in color, the wine instantly hits you with licorice, chocolate covered cherries, plums, smoke and espresso. Lush, polished, rich and velvety, there is good density, lift and length here. This wine is forward in style and should be great to enjoy with just a few years of age.
