Château Feytit Clinet

Château Feytit-Clinet is a one of the leading Bordeaux wine estate in the Pomerol appellation, known for its Merlot-based wine. The documented history of Feytit Clinet reaches back to 1825. It was leased to Ets. Moueix from 1964 to 2000, and then, control passed to the Chasseuil family. Some 90 percent of the 6.5 hectare (16 acre) vineyard is planted to Merlot, with the remainder devoted to Cabernet Franc. Soils are composed of mostly caly with pockets of gravel and sand as well.

Dark purple color, glossy intensity, an array of flavors that range from blackcurrant, licorice, chocolate, plums and spice. A blend of 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc, there is a lovely sweetness here with good richness and exuberant, soft tannins which make this a delicious Pomerol that is lush, fruity and fresh.
