Chateau La Fortune

Between the world's most famous Margaux wineries Château Lascombes and Château Labegorce lies the small Château la Fortune on just 2.5 hectares of land. However, the goal of the dedicated team under the leadership of oenologist Vincent Cachau is to work out the terroir of the estate. This extends on a hill-shaped pebble plain, and besides rich fruit notes, it also allows the tannins and minerality of the wine to shine. A true treasure in Bordeaux, of which we will certainly hear a lot in the coming years. 

A very sustained garnet color with purple and brilliant shades. The nose is complex, fruity, persistent, with flavors of black fruit and licorice. On the palate the wine is supple, balanced with blackberry jam and coffee notes. Long finish.
