Château La Tour de Mons

The Château La Tour de Mons is a single block vineyard, surrounded by a wall and located in the northern part of the Margaux appellation near the banks of the Garonne, as are all the very best Médoc Crus. Château La Tour de Mons can trace its history back to the 13th Century when it was known as Tour de Marsac. In the early 17th century it came under the purview of the de Mons family through marriage, whence its modern name.

Château La Tour de Mons 2022 is a structured and classic expression, showing aromas of blackberries, black cherry, rose petals, cocoa, licorice, and subtle cedar. The palate is medium to full-bodied with firmer tannins, juicy dark fruit, and a fresh, vibrant core supported by a clear mineral edge. The finish is long, precise, and slightly more serious in tone, with graphite, spice, and minty lift adding complexity.
