Château La Tour de Mons Magnum

The Château La Tour de Mons is a single block vineyard, surrounded by a wall and located in the northern part of the Margaux appellation near the banks of the Garonne, as are all the very best Médoc Crus. Château La Tour de Mons can trace its history back to the 13th Century when it was known as Tour de Marsac. In the early 17th century it came under the purview of the de Mons family through marriage, whence its modern name.

The 2023 vintage is aromatic with notes of red cherry, blackberry, cassis, tobacco, sandalwood, and floral spice. The palate is slightly softer and approachable, with silkier tannins, juicy fruit expression, and a fresh, fluid texture. The finish is elegant and energetic, showing red fruit purity, gentle spice, and a lifted, floral-mineral persistence.
