Chateau Lauretan

Château Lauretan is produced by Vignobles Gonfrier, a family-owned Bordeaux wine group run by Eric and Philippe Gonfrier. The estate lies on elevated land overlooking the Garonne River and was acquired by the Gonfrier family in 2004. Château Lauretan has a strong environmental focus, with its vineyards farmed organically and the estate’s first fully certified organic vintage released in 2013. Sustainable viticulture, manual vineyard work and biodiversity preservation form an important part of its identity.

Château Lauretan shows a deep red colour with aromas of ripe red and black fruits, complemented by subtle notes of spice, tobacco, vanilla and toast. The palate is supple and structured, with generous fruit, fine tannins and a fresh, balanced character. The finish is persistent, with gentle oak influence and a pleasant return of dark fruit and spice.
