Built in 1782, Château Marjosse is an estate located in the Entre-deux-Mers region, on the right bank of Bordeaux. Initially owned by the wine merchant Bernard Chénier, Château Marjosse was acquired by the Deleuze family, who in 1990 transferred some of the plots to Pierre Lurton for farming.
Château Marjosse Rouge is a wine that stems from a dedicated vineyard of 40 hectares. The vines, aged between 25 and 75 years for the oldest, are located on exceptional clay-limestone soils.
The color is dark and intense. The nose has a lovely freshness, releasing fragrances of blackberry and mint. Palate entices with its balance and its silky and creamy texture. Scents of citrus fruit and bitter orange mingle harmoniously until a persistent finish.
