Chateau Nairac Blanc Sauternes

Château Nairac is a wine estate in the Barsac commune of the Sauternes region of Bordeaux. It was classified as a Second Growth in the Sauternes and Barsac Classification of 1855. The property in its current form can be traced back to 1777. In that year Elysée Nairac purchased the estate, built the chateau and developed the core vineyards and grounds which still exist today. 

The dessert wine of this producer is heavily based on the Semillon grape variety. It has a reputation for elegance and minerality, and is regarded as one of the best examples from Barsac.

Honeysuckle, orange rind, pineapples, caramel, crème brûlée, and roasted nuts pop in the perfume. The palate is as sweet as it is vibrant, showcasing a rich display of pineapples, saffron, and roasted cashews that really stick with you.
