Château Tour Saint Christophe

Château Tour Saint Christophe is located on the Saint-Émilion  Grand Cru appellation and is at the border between the two villages of Saint-Émilion and Saint Christophe des Bardes. The shape of the property is a unique feature among the vineyards of Saint-Émilion. It is partly planted on narrow terraces where the vineyard is tended in tight rows grouped by five. This micro landscape extends into the slope overlooking the St Laurent valley. The terroir of Château Tour Saint Christophe is clay-limestone: red clay soil, Astéries limestone with carbonated limestone characteristics.

The color of dark ink with purple accents, the wine explodes from the glass with fresh brewed espresso, black cherry, licorice, smoke, menthol and chocolate. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, concentrated, rich, supple and vibrant. The fruit balances power with elegance, sweetness and purity. The finish is all about the non-stop layers of fruit.
