Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Domaine Christophe Mestre is a traditional family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, owned by Christophe and Véronique Mestre, representing the fourth generation of vine growers. The Mestre family has worked in the appellation for decades, maintaining a strong link to tradition while incorporating modern winemaking techniques.

Opening with aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum, layered with hints of garrigue, licorice, warm spices and a touch of smoke. On the palate it is medium- to full-bodied and generous, with supple, well-integrated tannins framing juicy dark-fruit flavors, subtle earthy notes and a faint sweetness from ripe Grenache. The finish is smooth, savory and persistent, combining freshness with warmth and making the wine both approachable in youth and capable of graceful aging.
