Chimay Blue

It was in 1948 that Father Theodore started the first trials with the new yeast. In 1954, the Christmas SPecial was marketed for the holidays only. In 1956, it became the ''blue capsule'', available all year round and an essential reference in the range of Chimay beers.

The beautiful dark and warm color and the compact light brown foam of the Chimay Blue offer a magnificent spectacle. This beer is undoubtedly the fruit of the divine marriage between exuberant fruity aromas and delicious chocolate. The attack is slightly sweet, before the creamy caramel turns into a soft mocha associated with a lively spicy character and, finally, to develop a delicious finish of candied fruits. The extremely tasty whole evolves towards a long pleasant finish, arousing a slightly comforting feeling and a sensation of pure chocolate.
