Manoir du Capucin is a family-run wine estate in the Mâconnais subregion of southern Burgundy, tracing roots back to the early 20th century. It is known for producing elegant white wines that express the limestone-rich terroirs of appellations such as Pouilly-Fuissé. The domaine is recognized for combining traditional Burgundian craftsmanship with sustainable vineyard practices.

Clos de la Maison is a single-vineyard and monopole Chardonnay from a 1.31-hectare parcel. Planted on clay-limestone soils and farmed with a sustainable approach, the vineyard delivers low yields and concentrated fruit. The wine is aged for around 12 months, predominantly in stainless steel with a smaller proportion in oak barrels, and kept on fine lees to build texture while preserving freshness and aromatic precision.

The wine shows a pale gold color with bright aromatic intensity, opening on ripe lemon, orchard fruits such as peach and apricot together with white flowers, layered with subtle spice and light oak nuances. On the palate it combines roundness and structure, offering a creamy yet focused texture balanced by fresh acidity and a clear mineral backbone. The finish is persistent and elegant, often marked by saline lift and gentle spice, reflecting both the limestone terroir and the restrained elevage.
