Product Details

Castello Romitorio is an Italian wine estate situated in Montalcino. The estate is particularly renowned for its Brunello di Montalcino wines produced from the Sangiovese grape variety. The estate takes its name from the nearby castle constructed in the 12th Century, and was purchased by the artist Sandro Chia in 1984. Chia began a series of developments that included the planting of several plots of Sangiovese vines that same year.

A delicious, soft and balanced Rosso with aromas and flavors of dark cherries and plums. There are also notes of dried flowers and spicy oak. Almost full-bodied with very silky, well-integrated tannins that give the wine a plump, almost chalky texture. Long finish with fruit-soaked minerals.

Only 6,000 bottles made.
