Copper in the Clouds Mango & Black Pepper

Created in 'The Distillery at Dowsett's Farm', Copper in the Clouds is a small company creating premium Gins in Hertfordshire. Historically, Hertfordshire (a county just to the north of London) was the hunting ground of the British Royal family, and is still relatively rural with numerous forests. They create their gins using locally sourced premium wheat spirit. Where possible, they use locally grown and sourced botanicals.

In 2014, a company commissioned a group of food scientists to look in depth at what the best possible garnish was for a G&T. The answer, surprisingly, was a slice of mango and cracked black pepper. Copper In the Clouds have infused these flavors directly into the gin using fresh, ripe mango and the best peppercorns available.
