Champagne Delamotte is a Champagne house located at Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte de Blancs. It was established in 1760 by François Delamotte, and most closely associated with the Chardonnay grape variety. This is no surprise considering that its 'sister' house is the legendary Champagne Salon. The house shares the same viticultural, winemaking, and management team as Champagne Salon. Both houses are owned by Laurent-Perrier.
The Chardonnay speaks with notable eloquence, often drawing parallels with the wines of Burgundy. The mousse is exceptionally finessed and the wine offers great depth as well as richness. The essence of crushed rocks, smoke and minerals are layered beautifully in the polished finish.
Aged on the lees for 6 years.
