Champagne Deutz is a notable Champagne house of the Aÿ region. It was founded in 1838 by wine merchants William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. Deutz is well-known for its balanced, elegant wines made from the classic Champagne blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Nearly 80 percent of grapes is sourced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites. In 1983, after generations of ownership by the Deutz and Geldermann families, the company was sold to the Rouzaud family, the owners of Louis Roederer.

Amour de Deutz Rosé Brut shows a pale but brilliant salmon color and a clear, delicate bouquet of discreet red fruits as well as very fine spicy and floral notes. The palate is highly delicate and fresh, firmly structured and nicely dry, with good, dense, aromatic and well-structured length. However, the wine is still young and not yet perfectly round.
