Gordon & MacPhail is a historic Scottish whisky company founded in 1895 in Elgin and is widely regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious independent bottlers of Scotch whisky, known for sourcing spirit from many distilleries, maturing it in their own casks for long periods, and releasing rare and highly sought-after single malts that often don’t appear in official distillery ranges.

Bottled as a part of G&M Distillery Labels series, this golden expression hails from Ardmore distillery in the Highlands. The single malt whisky was matured for 15 years in specially chosen casks, and bottled at 46% abv.

Balanced profile of sweet smoke and woody spices complemented by hints of vanilla and ripe fruit, delivering complex aromas with earthy nuances and a long, gently peaty finish characteristic of a Gordon & MacPhail collector’s edition; on the nose, expect butterscotch, green apple and subtle oak spice, while the palate reveals peat harmoniously interwoven with fruity, malty flavors, culminating in a sweet, slightly peppery, peat-tinged finish.
