This 14‑year‑old Speyside malt from the Distillery Labels range opens with fresh orchard fruits and subtle vanilla sweetness, quickly giving way to steamed apple, pear compote and hints of crystallised orange peel on the nose; the palate is soft yet lively, with bright pear and gentle white pepper spice balanced by touches of aniseed and demerara sugar that lend depth without heaviness, finishing medium with lingering spice, dried fruit and a whisper of walnut, a youthful but refined expression of Glentauchers’ elegant character.
